MY FLORAL STORY

My introduction into the floral industry fell into my lap and brought with it a creative outlet that changed my life. I’ve since fully immersed myself into all aspects of the industry, including logistical behind the scenes, design work, and on site wedding planner coordination. With a dedication to functionality and a curiosity for what’s ahead of the curve, I keep my work practical, relevant and innovative. AUGUST DESIGN: LOGISTICS ASSISTANT & DESIGNER

April 2021- October 2021

• Weekly standings for four restaurants in Palmetto Bluff, SC
• Weekly lobby installations at Montage, Palmetto Bluff
• Studio cleanup & organization of design vessels
• Collecting used products from standings to dry
• Constructing packing lists for on-site installations/ setups
• Packing tool kits appropriately
• Minor carpentry projects- drilling, wiring lights, & installing pulley systems for raised installations
• Wholesaler order pickups- including finding substitutes if necessary & double-checking order quality
• Dividing & labeling floral orders for multiple weddings and events
• Inventory of studio supplies including special orders for future events
• Inventory of rental vessels and placing orders for new vessels or replacements
• Maintenance of rental stands, urns, plants, & candles
• Maintenance of company van- oil changes, other issues, topping off fluids, and checking dates for insurance and registration

*Gaylord Rockies take down and storage- including photos of item placement, tags and labels for all trees, coordinating extension cords for all lit items, and alphabetized storage at warehouse

*Valentines Day at Perfect Petal retail shop- assembly line production of online orders and delivery

*Wreath making class- holiday class taught at Perfect Petal retail shop
